• Sets the annual financial target for the United Church Mission and Service Fund
• Coordinates two mission Sundays each year; usually bringing in topical speakers
• Keeps the congregation informed on local, national and international missions; both those supported by the United Church and otherwise
• Informs the congregation of emerging needs such as the Haiti relief fund

Meets as necessary at the call of the Chairperson, Kerry Little; no more than 4 times per year

Worship & Music Committee

• Responsible for coordinating Sunday worship
• Organizes communion and baptism
• Coordinates pulpit supply when the Minister is on vacation or study leave
• Works cooperatively with the Minister and the Music Director around service planning
• Coordinates special services

Meets 4 times per year or at the call of the Chairperson, Maureen Grant

Finance Committee

• Works with the accountant to ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles
• Works with the committees to set annual budgets
• Provides monthly balance sheets

Meets as necessary at the call of the Chairperson, Sue Kalbfleisch

Ministry & Personnel Committee

• Responsible for the oversight and support of the Minister
• Responsible for setting human resource policies
• Acts as a resource for the congregation in human resource matters

Meets 4 times each year at the call of the Chairperson, Rev. Mel Rose
